Pro Audio: M-Audio Opens Benelux Office
New distribution model facilitates closer interaction with resellers and customers

Los Angeles, CA, August 30, 2007 — M-Audio®, a leading provider of creative tools for musicians, is set to change the current distribution model in the Benelux and start a new business venture to work more closely with its valued resellers and customers. As part of this new initiative, M-Audio has joined forces with sister company Digidesign to maximize existing resources and infrastructure.

Starting September 3rd, 2007, M-Audio Benelux sales will be managed from the current Digidesign Benelux office at 1216 CH Hilversum, Netherlands. Digidesign Territory manager Manager Sander van der Reijken will assume overall responsibility for both M-Audio and Digidesign sales operations for the Benelux, and will be joined by Roger Bisschops as the new Benelux M-Audio Sales Manager.

“The ability to coordinate all activities for M-Audio and Digidesign from one location brings us many opportunities from which our resellers and end users will benefit,” states Sander van der Reijken. “Having Roger Bisschops join us from Synthax Benelux to manage the M-Audio sales is very important. His previous business experience gained from managing other brands such as RME will ensure we have the best possible start to the business.”

“This new organization will allow us to improve our service and market coverage for the whole of the Benelux territory for both M-Audio and Digidesign products,” says Ken Dewar, European Sales Manager for M-Audio. “The brands will retain their individual character and strengths while the new expanded sales structure will enable us to better focus on growing the business for both product groups.”
