Great! Dean Guitars puts out another Dimebag of Pantera guitar we all cannot afford
Right on. Dean Guitars continue to milk poor old Dimebag’s legacy with another $12000 guitar we all can’t afford. What gives? How many of these things can poor old Dean put out. I wonder if poor Darrell is rolling around on his grave on this one.

The Red Hot Album review from Caveat

Caveat-Red
By Keith Fraser
Some might say ‘don’t meddle with the metal’. The new CD ‘RED’ from CAVEAT, bends the metal, twists it, heats it up and leaves it on the cold hard ground as a hot bubbling molting thrash metal masterpiece.
CAVEAT has produced an album that is sometimes bombastic and grand, other times dark but always with high-speed prog metal blasting with every deep cut. The consistent speed is really a major aspect of this album. The guitar riffs are distinctive and smashing fast the way thrashers like it. Greg Musgrave’s vocals are well adjusted and more original than the norm with a balance between clean even melodic bits and Terry Baldwin’s rough screams and deep growls.
If the title cut ‘RED’ isn’t enough to hook you at first (the CD jewel case is even a clear red plastic), then jump ahead to the thirteen minute plus monster ‘Within The Weakness’ and try and say the band isn’t giving it all.
With all aspects, from song writing to musicianship to production, this CD is a prog metal classic. A shot of energy, with a combination of screaming, singing, stellar guitar work and Casey Rogers’s double bass power drumming knocking you against the back wall. CAVEAT has produced an album that is complex with an atmosphere that is hot . . . ‘RED’ hot.
