If you are doing any kind of business on the Internet, you need to drive targeted visitors to your website to make sales. The method I use and recommend is article marketing. While many marketers try to make you believe that it is slow and obsolete method, it’s not.

You don’t need to have a Phd in English to write articles. Just ’speak write’ and you will do fine. In fact, people prefer those articles. Your article should be informative, interesting and helpful. In fact, one of the main reason you are writing is to lead the reader to the resource box and give him a powerful reason to sign up to your list.

Don’t write long seven hundreds articles because webmasters and ezine owners are not going to publish them on their websites or ezines.

It’s just too long. They know that their readers are short on time, and you need to go straight to the point. Some article directories allow you to write short 250 words articles while other don’t. Generally, your article should be anywhere between 350 and 500 words. If you write about a topic and your article becomes very long, just split it in two different articles and call them part 1 and part 2.

The last thing I wanted to talk you about is your article content. As we saw above, your main reason to write and submit articles is to show your expertise and drive potential prospects to your website.

However, you should not sell anything in your article. In fact you article is a pre-selling tool. You are basically warming your prospect by showing him that you have a lot more than what he just read.
