50 Cent say Young Buck will not tour with G-Unit, New Music Video Reality Show coming

The 50 Cent / G-Unit and Young Buck story continues. It started with 50 kicking Young Buck out of the G-Unit group. Then he talked about Buck saying things like "he lives like a drug dealer." Young Buck replied by releasing a song "My Interview" [listen here], which discussed the recently headlines involving himself and G-Unit. 50 replied by saying he knew Buck would put out a track like that.
Now 50 has announced that when G-Unit goes on tour to support their new album, Terminate On Sight, Young Buck will not be going with them. Although 50 said Buck is on a few tracks featured on the album he says “[Young Buck] won’t be traveling with G-Unit as a group,” continuing “He’ll be able to prepare for his solo project while we on the road touring.”

Ex Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland is now working on new solo album

Ex Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland is now working on new solo album

Stone Temple Pilots and former Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland told satellite shock jock Howard Stern on Wednesday morning (April 23rd) that he is currently working on his second solo album for a November release. Weiland was joined on the call by No Doubt drummer Adrian Young, who is also playing on the record. A release date and title have yet to be revealed. Weiland’s first solo effort, 12 Bar Blues, was issued in 1998.

Weiland, who was dismissed from Velvet Revolver on April 1st, has reunited with Stone Temple Pilots for a lengthy spring and summer tour, beginning in mid-May at Columbus, Ohio’s Rock on the Range festival.

STP may record their first new album in seven years this fall after the tour is finished, but those plans are not set in stone.

Meanwhile, Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash told Guitar World magazine that Weiland believed other people were singing along with him during the band’s live performances. Slash explained, “Scott was under the impression that our drum tech was singing during the set, which was why he walked offstage at (the show in Scotland where Weiland announced that it was Velvet Revolver’s last tour). We convinced him that wasn’t happening, but then the next night he said that Matt (Sorum, drums) was doing it. He was firmly convinced that was happening, which it wasn’t.”

Slash added that Velvet Revolver has been writing and will demo new material for its next album while searching for a new vocalist.
