Call of Duty 4 M16 Vs MP5

Once a devotee of the M16, I have recently come to see the light.

Don’t get me wrong, the Call of Duty 4 M16 is a great weapon, but it is a weapon of simplified use (1-2 shot=kill, also good range and accuracy.)

Best Perk Setup

1.Bandolier/Claymore

2. Stopping power

3. Steady aim/ Extreme Conditioning

The MP5 can kill, with 1 tap of the trigger, how many people know that?!? I figured this out by sneaking behind a sniper and shooting him ever so lightly to get his attention and he takes a dirt nap…WTF.

I delved into the world of the MP5 to investigate this crazy business.

1. Bandolier/Claymore

2. Stopping Power/ UAV Jammer (don’t use Double Tap if you want to get more than 1-2 kills a clip)

3. Steady Aim/Extreme Conditioning/Dead Silence

My kd instantly jumped .2 (no lie) and is still going up, albeit slowly, (I have a lot kills, so…)

I soon realized that the MP5 takes a great deal of skill (upper body shots) and tactics (i.e. getting within range, using cover to advantage, going prone, sprinting at correct times etc.)

While the M16 is a great weapon for beginners and casual gamers. (Please don’t say your l33t and you use a M16, how many top players use it? not many.) It cannot compare with the unassailable level of skill an experienced mp-5 user has.

This is where I thought of making a chart.

Weapon Skill KD ratio

M16 users low high

MP5 users pro pro KD

In Conclusion, the MP5, while a better weapon, is not usable by the vast majority of M16 users, since the MP5 involves the use of tactics, and actually placing shots (alot to ask, I know…)

I’m not bashing M16 users, I like it myself, I just believe that there are a few simple reasons why the MP5 will never be whored as much as the M16
