After Chinese Democracy album, Axl Rose of Guns N Roses is working on a new autobiography

Next to "Chinese Democracy" actually being released in stores, an autobiography from Axl Rose has to be the next most sought after item by most Guns N’ Roses fans.
According to Sebastian Bach, who has basically become Axl Rose’s flunky and voice to the public told Rolling Stone that Axl is currently in the midst of penning an autobiography. Of course, when it will be finished and how big it will be is anyone’s guess.

Sebastian Bach is not part of Velvet Revolver but will work on new album with Slash

Sebastian Bach is not part of Velvet Revolver but will work on new album with Slash

EBASTIAN BACH has several projects in the works, according to Billboard, but becoming VELVET REVOLVER’s new vocalist isn’t one of them. Bach’s name has been floated as a possible replacement for SCOTT WEILAND. But Billboard reports that Bach’s friendship with AXL ROSE, the nemesis and former bandmate of most of the guys in Velvet Revolver, would make his joining the band, quote, "awkward."

Still, Bach has plenty to keep him busy. The singer is planning to re-release his 2007 album Angel Down as an FYE exclusive, packaged with a DVD. He’s also hitting the road this summer with DOKKEN and POISON, and may be collaborating with HATEBREED frontman JAMIE JASTA.
Despite not joining Velvet Revolver, Bach is one of the few people who seems to be close with both Axl and SLASH. He in fact says that Slash recently contacted him, quote, "Out of the blue… to talk to me about working together, but not [in] Velvet Revolver. It was a completely different project and I can’t tell you what it is ’cause it’s mind-blowing, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy."

Former MTV VJ is out of contention for Velvet Revolver singer spot for new album

This was issued by Steve Isaacs who is also part of Panic Channel:

"I got an odd email congratulating me about singing for the VELVET REVOLVER guys, which took me by surprise ’cause, well… I’m not. Apparently this interview with VR’s Matt Sorum (who I am lucky enough to play with when CAMP FREDDY comes to town) led the interviewer to suspect that the mystery singer Matt was referring to was me. It’s not.

Matt Sorum of Velvet Revolver interview validates that old Guns N Rose reunion prediction will happen

As we have been predicting, this Guns N Roses reunion will eventually happen. It just takes a former member like Matt Sorum to validate it for us. Thanks

Speaking to the website reporter Joe Bosso, about the reunion plan, Matt convincingly said, "I’m sure it’ll happen eventually". He then also added that the original GNR members could have already started the meetings for the reunion saying, "They could be having meetings about it right now. They could be in a bomb shelter, with Axl Rose, (vocals) and Slash (guitar) and Duff McKagan, (bass). And Izzy Stradlin, (guitar)! Maybe Steven Adler (original GUNS N’ ROSES drummer) - I don’t know. I’d probably be the very, very, very last guy to get the call."

Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine plans to do tour in front of presidential convention for potential tour

This sounds exciting. I hope this one goes over really well. We really need it

Guitarist Tom Morello tells Blabbermouth.net, "There is the possibility that we will be playing at the demonstrations surrounding the Presidential conventions. The Democrats are in Denver, the Republicans are in Minneapolis. But we’re still looking into that."
