Microsoft will bring back Quake for Xbos
MICROSOFT TO INIITIATE
ENEMY TERRITORY : QUAKE WARS™ LIVE WEEKEND
Battle Online Against Developers from id Software, Nerve Software and Splash Damage to Determine the Fate of Earth and Win the Spoils of War
Santa Monica, CA – June 6, 2008 – Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) has recruited id Software, Nerve Software, Splash Damage and Activision, Inc., (Nasdaq: ATVI) for its newest online offensive: Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars™ LIVE Weekend 2008, a 72-hour play-and-win sweepstakes full of games and prizes beginning on Friday, June 6 at 12:01 a.m. EDT through Sunday, June 8 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Players will face off against the developers in a competitive tournament for hourly prizes that will be awarded throughout the weekend, including Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars shirts, 4GB QUAKE-branded Flash Drives, Xbox 360 Elite consoles, and more. Players can register now through June 8, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. EDT at www.xbox.com/quakewars.
