Acclaimed as a “newsmaker” by Macleans magazine and “one of 12 bands to watch out for” by Canoe, Hello Operator is beginning to hit it off as big-shot indie-pop rockers. They have appeared on Much Music, were showcased on E-talk Daily and were the first band ever to be featured on MTV Canada’s “MTV Live”.

On the follow-up to their massively successful, self-titled EP, Toronto’s Hello Operator offers escapist pop jangle tempered by a moody new-wave pulse. Heartache/break never sounded so hooky. H.O. write big, brawny anthems that soar on the back of meaty guitars, 80’s pomp, and measured pop chops. Think The Cars covering “Cars” by Gary Numan, or a glorious revisionist history lesson on the past twenty-five years of radio rock, these dudes have their melodic guitar rock bases covered.
