Hardcore/Metal circuit with a showcase kicking off at Canadian Music Week
March 6th at the Reverb.
A TEXTBOOK TRAGEDY � 9:00 PM EST
Combining aggressive and technical metal with grass-roots hardcore energy,
Vancouver�s, A Textbook Tragedy are making big waves in the Canadian music
scene. Formed in 2004, the band has spent their post high-school years
relentlessly touring across North America, playing alongside some of the
biggest names in heavy music including; All That Remains, The Acacia Strain,
Misery Signals, Emmure, Comeback Kid, Ion Dissonance, and Despised Icon.
Recently signed to Distort Inc., A Textbook Tragedy�s sophomore album
�Intimidator� will be available in stores and online on March 4th.
ARCHITECTS � 9:45 PM EST
Formed in Brighton, England in 2004, Architects have spent their short time
together focused on the things that really matter for an upcoming band: the
music, the songs, the killer riffs -choosing to steer well clear of
image-centric posturing, hair extensions and online pouting. Drawn together
by a love of heavy metal, noise and hardcore, Architects have already made a
considerable name for themselves on the UK underground. Racking up shows
alongside the likes of God Forbid, Napalm Death, and Johnny Truant, the
quintet have left punters nationwide gobsmacked and practically frothing at
the mouth with their jaw dropping technical proficiency and undeniable
songwriting stones.

UK-based Johnny Truant have positively basked in plaudits from fans, peers
and critics alike; slowly but surely clawing and snarling their way to the
forefront of the British metal underground via vigorous roadwork and nose to
the grindstone commitment. Tours alongside the likes of Isis, Fear Factory,
Bullet� for My Valentine, As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage have aided
the quintet in establishing an impressive reputation and engaging identity;
not to mention a widespread, dedicated fan base. Watch out for Johnny
Truant�s third album in stores and online Spring/Summer 2008.
