It is confirmed as Lenny Kravitz is sick as South American tour cancelled

As for Canada, was it his health or poor ticket sales that the promoter cancelled those dates?

Lenny Kravitz has just canceled his South American tour, including his April 5 Buenos Aires tour date due to health concerns. The singer checked himself into a Miami hospital last week, suffering from severe bronchitis. Kravitz was slated to play the Quilmes Rock ‘08 Festival at River Plate Stadium in Nunez. The festival, which was to be headlined by Kravitz, will still feature rock mega-group Korn, as well as Ozzy Osbourne. Full refunds will be offered via ticketmaster. Singers Seal and Rod Stewart are scheduled to play Buenos Aires the same week at separate venues.

So do you think we will get sued for reporting this Motley Crue Cruefest tour info?

It seems their management has no problems in initiating this. We just deliver info so there.

Be warned. The story of the most destructive band in history isn’t a pretty one… With the possible exception of Ozzy Osbourne, no band has consumed as many drugs and as much booze without dying as the LA quartet Mötley Crüe. The story of their career (which the band elected to tell in graphic detail in their unmissable 2001 autobiography, The Dirt) is one of dirty needles, damaged minds and sex — lots of sex. And the miraculous thing about the

Crüe is not that they lived to tell the tale (although that is, in a way, a kind of unholy miracle): it’s that all of their wildly uncontrollable habits are clearly audible in their music, now available from Universal. Just listen to these albums: if you concentrate hard enough, you can hear the sound of the coke coming off the tables, the squeak of the bed-springs and the sheer sleazy grind of California rock over the last two decades.

    WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18TH, 2008
    THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE – TORONTO
    Doors:  5:00pm        Show:  7:00pm

“Summer means two things in N. America: It’s hot, and the Dave Matthews Band are on tour,” said Rolling Stone. Summer is clearly just around the corner as the band has announced their Summer ’08 tour, which includes a stop in Toronto at the Molson Amphitheatre on June 18th.

Concertgoers will be the first to hear the latest material from Dave Matthews Band, as the group debuts songs from its forthcoming record. The chart-topping band is currently in the studio with producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Alanis Morissette), working on the yet-to-be-titled album, which is the follow-up to 2005’s Stand Up, the fourth consecutive Dave Matthews Band studio record to debut at #1 on The Billboard 200. Guitarist and longtime friend Tim Reynolds is playing on the album, marking his first recording with the band since 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets.

Dave Matthews Band – comprised of Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar), LeRoi Moore (saxophone) and Boyd Tinsley (violin) – has sold a collective 35 million units (CD and DVD combined) since the 1994 release of its major label debut, Under the Table and Dreaming.

Velvet Revolver drummer attacks Scott Weiland during Scottish tour in blog

Everybody seems to be in moody in the VR camp. Oh dear. It looks like Scottie has his sights now set on his Stone Temple reunion shows.

"Everybody could see who was unhappy last night, but all I can say is let’s keep the rock alive, people!!!! In this life, you just pick up and keep moving. And don’t ever let anybody stand in your way."

Four exclamation points, you’ll note. That’s convincing, that is.
