New York, NY – March 12, 2008 - Jive Records recording artist Britney Spears is premiering her new video “Break The Ice” on BlackoutBall.com today March 12th at 6:30 PM EST. Access to view the video will only be permitted once fans discover and enter the correct two passwords, which will be available today on BlackoutBall.com at 2 PM EST.
“Break The Ice” is the third single from her critically-acclaimed album Blackout, which has sold in access of 2 million copies worldwide. The highly-anticipated video to “Break The Ice” was directed by Robert Hales (Gnarls Barkley “Crazy " ). The fully animated video was created in South Korea in anime/Japanimation style.
BlackoutBall.com is a special site built to celebrate the video premiere, acting as a virtual black tie party. Those who enter the site prior to 6:30 PM EST will find a chatroom where they can mingle with fellow partygoers in a cyber cocktail party while awaiting the premiere of “Break The Ice.”

Gibson is also announcing a Slash YouTube Video Contest, giving fans a chance to win a Slash Inspired By Les Paul Standard Vintage Original Spec Custom model. Deadline for the contest is April 15; and contestants may submit up to one video per day for the duration of the contest. Three very limited and unique models of the Slash signature Les Paul guitar will be released simultaneously around the world on Tuesday, April 1, offering consumers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own a guitar inspired by Slash. Atreyu will release the newly extended edition of Lead Sails Paper Anchor on April 15th. They’ve also just released a new video trailer previewing the CD’s extra footage. The new disc comes packed with new video profiles of the band, behind the scenes footage from the road, tons of never before seen photos, a digital booklet, and three new studio songs.
Atreyu is currently on the road as part of the Taste of Chaos tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine. The new single from Atreyu, "Falling Down" has been steadily climbing up the charts and is about to make it’s way onto the top 10 Rock radio chart. Check out the audio stream of "Falling Down" here.
